The Kilworth House Customer Story
Kilworth House Hotel is a glorious Grade II listed property, combined with a fantastic outdoor theatre set in 38 acres of landscaped south Leicestershire parkland. Somerbys IT gained Kilworth as a client when they originally got involved during the renovation of the hotel back in 2002.
From the beginning Somerbys IT were instrumental in the development and project management of the newly opening hotel, providing guidance on POS tills, hotel PMS systems, telecommunications, CCTV & plate recognition, VING door locking systems, hotel TV solution and obviously fundamentals like servers, workstations and networking equipment. As the business grew, so did the relationship and Somerbys IT later provided advice on sales and marketing, guidance on direct marketing, including the implementation of CRM software.
In 2007, some 4 years after the hotel opened, Kilworth launched an astonishing outdoor theatre and once again Somerbys IT were involved in advising on all aspects of IT from POS tills, through to theatre booking software and online ticket sales.
Not only have Somerbys IT been fundamental in setting up the IT infrastructure, they also provide ongoing dedicated support, proactive visits and infrastructure monitoring, as well as IT planning.
